Specifications:

This is a Micro Controller based composite Alarm Annunciator i.e. complete with Hooter, Test, Accept & Reset push buttons. Hooter is piezo-electric type for audible alarm and light indication is through LED's (Light emitting diodes). This unit is housed in ABS plastic moulded, door mounting box and offers a maintenance free long life. Fault inscriptions are back lighted with multiple led's behind each window and can be printed on computer.

OPERATIONS

For Test button, two types of sequences are available:

Visual indicator & Hooter test: Window Lights and Hooter gets on and Window Lights remains so till test button is kept pressed and hooter goes off when accept push button is pressed

Functional Test: When test button is pressed it creates fault condition on all the faults and the sequence of operation is as per details given below:

  • When the fault signal is received, the window light of the corresponding fault starts flashing at the rate of 50 flashes/ minute and hooter gets ON and tripping relay also gets energized if the corresponding selector switch is 'ON'.
  • On pressing the Accept button, the window light become steady ON and the hooter goes OFF. Tripping relay (if selected) remains energised.
  • On pressing the Reset button, if the fault has been removed, the window light goes OFF and the tripping relay (if selected) gets de- energised. In case the fault is persisting, then the sequence of flashing & hooter is repeated.
  • All the fault circuits have independent operation. If one fault has been accepted, the second fault at this stage will activate the flashing and hooter again for the second fault.

Operating Voltage : 12 or 24 VDC or 12 / 24 / 110 / 240 / 415 VAC

Fault Signal required : +Ve 12 or 24 V as per operating Voltage or internal voltage at common point (-Ve signal can also be accepted on requirement)

Hooter : Continuous Duty Siren like loud sound (Piezo Electric Type)

Test Accept & Reset Push buttons : Snap action sealed type

Tripping Relay : PCB mounting, dust proof, with two changeover contacts rated for 6 Amps. resistive or 2 Amps inductive load at 24 VDC/240 VAC

  • 96 x 96x 125mm for 2,4,6,8 fault units.
  • 96 x 188 x 125 mm for 10, 12, 14, 16 fault units.

Cut Out : 92x92 mm (Standard as per voltmeter etc. for upto 8 faults) & 92 x 184mm for 10, 12, 14, 16 fault units.

EXTERNAL CONNECTION (For upto 8 fault Unit)

  • Selector switch is provider at back of the unit for selection of fault relay energisation.
  • For 2, 4, 6 fault units balance fault points are left blank. Similar connection for higher number of faults units.
