Why Solar?

Thomas Edison- I would put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that. I wish I had more years left.

Majority of world's electricity supply is being generated mainly from fossil fuels like natural gas, oil and coal. Several issues are connected with these fossil fuels that are irreversible such as security concerns, price hike, over dependence for import on few countries and the growing environmental & climatic issues. One of the fact is that these resources are limited and because of their overuse, they are depleting very fast. The right time has come when every human being have to tackle two crucial situations- fighting against global warming for better tomorrow and meeting the growing global energy needs.
