Government is concerned about export of duty. As per the orders, no export duty is applicable on goods exported from India. But still some Customs is insisting for agriculture cess. Is it fair? Chennai Customs insisting for such cess. I feel there is no proper public notice issued to its field formations.

But Mumbai Customs has issued a notification to exempt cess from exports. Then why Chennai Customs has not issued such a notification. Whether it has not reached with the concerned authorities? I am a Customs Hosue Agent in Chennai pleads on behalf of my client.
