An SSI registration essentially is a certificate that allows you to draw on various benefits such as:
• priority sector lending (easy loan availability)
• excise and direct tax exemptions
• power tariff subsidies (cheaper electricity for your business)
• If there is a default on the part of any creditor, you are entitled to recover the entire money along with interest. Your creditor cannot close his books of account without paying you!
