The term shower is often assumed to mean that some kind of blessing upon you or a father or mother showers you with gifts on your birthday. A non-stop rain of water in even motion or spray of water in a rhythmic manner is shower. We listen to a bridal shower these days when the girl gets her shower before wedding ceremony. Or when God showers some kind of boon or blessing upon mankind and we presume that it comes from the above just like the water from above our heads in bathroom.
