Q. Which is better 304 or 316 stainless steel screws?

Screws made of 316 stainless steel material provide better resistance to corrosion chemical and chlorides. 316 SS has higher percentage of chromium that reacts with oxygen before the iron is able to form a oxidizing layer that is corrosion resistance and protect the underlying metal.
