It is often created during the treating wastewater including the treatment of sewage and the production of industrial wastes. Sludge is to be moved via drainage systems or other systems using a sludge pump. Because sludge may be heavy often corrosive and abrasive these pumps must have a large output. More horsepower is needed the heavier the muck.
