Of course large commercial spaces like shopping malls may have separate sections for entry and exit so those doors may always be open and may automatically open or close through sensors. Pivot hinges may work best with smaller shops but with high traffic of people like hair salons restaurants etc. Pivot hinges are also helpful with the doors that are meant for easy going in and going out but will still be closed. Perhaps that way the air-conditioned temperature inside will not be compromised.
