This is dependent on the pump and the intended use. Diaphragms on metering pump usually last 6 to 12 months gears in gear pumps 3 to 6 months and motors often last years. Brushes in DC motors must be replaced on a regular basis. Brush wear should be monitored and brushes must be replaced once six months.
