A pipe bend is the product that is manufactured through a piece of pipe which is bent to some angle to join two pipes. It can have any bending radius and angles. Pipe bends are normally produced for specific requirements by hot induction bending or cold bending. An elbow is a specific pipe bend as per the international standard that has a bending radius of 1.5D or 1D.
