Q. What is the difference between Monel 400 & Monel K500?
Answer
Monel 400 goes through heat treatment process in order to increase its tensile & yield strength that finally becomes Monel K500. Both are excellent corrosion-resistant but Monel K500 has 3 times the yield strength & 2 times the tensile strength.
