Q. What is the difference between centrifugal and axial flow fan?
Answer
The air enters and leaves the axial flow fan in a linear direction parallel to the axis. On the other hand the direction of the air when exiting the centrifugal gas is changed to the right angle (90-degree) from the direction of the incoming air. Centrifugal fan or a blower is used as in leaf blower or inflator.
