Q. What is the difference between air circuit breaker and vacuum circuit breaker?
Answer
A circuit breaker that uses compressed air (air kept under high pressure) to blow out the arc is known as air circuit breaker. On the other hand vacuum circuit breaker uses a vacuum as a medium to extinguish the arc.
