Q. What is the difference between 304 and 321 stainless steel grades?
Answer
321 stainless steel is more austenitic stabilized because of the presence of titanium at least 5 times more than the carbon content. Addition of titanium reduces carbide precipitation even at high temperature of up to 800o C.
