Q. What is the basic difference between a tubular pipe and tube?
Answer
A tube is rectangular round or square but a pipe is always round in shape. A pipe can be tube called tubular pipe but not vice versa. Both have hollow section but tube is measured using inner diameter (ID) and outside diameter (OD) while pipe is measured using only OD plus wall thickness.
