A 304 stainless steel sheet is the most used grade of all stainless steels in the world. Apart from the 18% chromium and 8% nickel in the composition of these sheets SS 304 sheets also have manganese carbon silicon sulfur nitrogen and phosphorus in the composition which give them the strength of 205MPa minimum yield and 515MPa minimum tensile strength in general.
