Q. What exactly is a clock in a CPU?
Answer
The CPU clock determines the processor's speed (in Hz unit). The quicker the CPU the higher is the rate. A 1.5 GHz CPU for example may oscillate 1500000000 times in one second but a 3GHz processor can oscillate twice as many times as the first processor.
