There are four types of Autoclave machines:Vertical autoclaves: The top lid of these autoclaves is opened in order to load the device. Ideal for usage in confined places like laboratories or minor clinics.Horizontal autoclaves: This one is great for relieving the burden on medical staff when treatment capacity is high and space is not an issue.Gravity displacement autoclaves: Although not as adaptable as pre-vacuum autoclaves, they are nonetheless useful for treating simple loads like flat surgical instruments and some forms of biohazard waste.Pre-vacuum (prevac) autoclaves: By using a vacuum pump to remove all of the air from the autoclave's chamber, it is possible to sterilize a wider variety of materials and complex loads, including those made of medical textiles, loads that are porous, larger pieces of equipment, and even high-density polyethylene, such as syringes and pipette tips.
