Q. How should mosaic tiles be cleaned?
Answer
A simple combination of 50 percent water and 50 percent white vinegar is an excellent, all-natural method to keep the glass mosaics looking new. After spraying the solution on the tiles and waiting a minute or two, wipe them clean with a wet rag. Use a spray bottle filled with water and vinegar (in equal parts) to clean and polish glass tiles. After applying the spray, wait around 10 minutes. Soap scum and hard water stains may be removed off tiles by rubbing them with a soft cloth or brush, rinsing with cold water, and then drying them.
