Q. How pyrolysis oil is produced?

In oxygen-free atmosphere dried biomass like wood crops and wastes are heated at a temperature of 500°C following cooling which produces pyrolysis oil in the form of tar. The process takes place in a reactor vessel in the absence of oxygen.
