CTC (crush tear curl or cut tear curl) is a modern method of procession black tea which excludes the methods used in traditional making of tear. In this method the tea leaves pass through a set of cylindrical rollers having hundreds of sharp teeth to crush tear and curl them into hard and small pellets.
