In the process of creating paper a mat of randomly intertwined fibres is set down after a diluted suspension of fibres in water is drained through a screen. This creates the mat. In order to manufacture paper a mat of fibres is pressed and dried which removes the water from the mat. This leads to the manufacturing of unique papers that are used for art.
