The industrial water softener works with hard incoming water that passes through a porous resin bed. This resin appears as consistent tiny plastic beads that have been constructed and treated in such fashion that each tiny bead is so porous. The surface area of the machine is also chemically altered to act upon contamination and sediment. When it comes out it is fully cleaned.
