The heated condenser coils are cooled by the tower which generates a stream of cold water that circulates through a heat exchanger. The tower forces air through a stream of water which causes some of the water to evaporate. As a result the stream of water is cooled by the evaporation. Air is utilized in every single one of the several types of air conditioning systems that we have discussed up until this point in order to remove heat from the compressor coils.
