Installing pivot hinges on doors is a simple process are it does not require any drilling on the sides of the door panels. To install pivot hinges first determine how many hinges will be required and usually two hinges are needed for the door top and bottom. Mark the position for the floor mount and make sure the is some space left out for easy movement of the door and then mount the floor plate on the floor. Mount the top plate at the ceiling and make sure the centre point of the top plate is vertically in line with the centre point on the floor plate. Mount the door on the pivot plates and make the minute changes with some fine tuning till the door is perfectly adjusted.
