Q. How are MS ERW pipes manufactured?

MS ERW pipes are made through ‘electric resistance welding’ in which an electric current (100–1,00,000 A) is passed through the metal which prompts an electrical resistance, causing the metal to melt and permanently join at the point where current is applied. Mild steel is seam or spot welded to make pipes.
