Q. Difference between dp box and mcb?

Answer

MCBs come in two varieties: single pole used to interrupt a single phase and double pole used to do the same for both phases and the neutral. In other words a single-pole switch manages a single live wire and trips the line if the fault current exceeds the pickup setting while a double-pole switch can manage two live wires or one live and one neutral wire.
