Liquid detergent is better than detergent powder for various reasons. Liquid detergent mixes well with water but creates less foam thereby aiding in water conservation. It is soft on hands good for delicate fabrics and helps in quick removal of stains. Detergent powders create more foam thus consuming more water in rinsing the cloths. The powder may not fully dissolve in water therefore resulting in wastage and susceptible to leaving residue in cloths or washing machines.
