Detergent is a
chemical substance, usually in the form of a powder or liquid that is used for
washing clothes or dishes. It is also known as cleaner, cleanser, washing-up
liquid, and soap. In this busy world, the biggest advantage of detergent powder
is that they are easy to use and is very powerful in removing dust, dirt,
grease, oil and other environmental pollutants with ease and effectiveness.
Detergent powders can be used for hand wash as well as machine wash
applications. Such powders come in many forms such as powders, unit dose
tablets, concentrated liquids, liquid capsules, pastes or cakes. These powders
are meant for household, institutional or industrial purposes. What we do is to
take detergent powder as per requirement and put in into the washing machine or
trough and add water accordingly followed by the number of clothes to be
washed.
In our daily use
for cleaning clothes, detergent powder is a household name. This cleaning agent
is sold in powder, solid or liquid forms, but in modern times, people prefer
powder form for ease. The detergent is a cleaning agent, which is used for
cleaning dirty clothes by adding it with water. The detergent powder is manufactured
in as washing powder and is widely used in laundries and homes. Detergent
powders are laundry-cleaning products that are made using a synthetic
surfactant in place of the metal fatty acid salts, which are used in soaps.

Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) is another ingredient used as foaming agent in detergents, soaps and shampoos that causes irritation in human skin and cause eczema, rosacea and psoriasis. Sodium Hypochlorite is the bleach in detergents that is meant to make clothes appear whiter, but when it comes in contact with the skin, bleach can cause allergic reactions to eyes and lungs. Detergents can
have poisonous effects on all types of aquatic life if they are present in

and deplete oxygen in waterways. The release of sewage effluents containing the

In order to make

solution consisting of water and chemicals known as solubilizers. These
chemicals help the water and detergent blend together more evenly.
For washing
clothes in the washing machines, half fill the tumbler with water and pour down
