Filtek series CK skids are used to filter the Biodiesel/WVO from sub micron contaminants and water traces. This is very important to remove free fatty acids and water contamination prior to using as Biodiesel to avoid corrosion of fuel injectors (water, catalyst), Elastomeric seal failures, Fuel injector blockages due to glycerine, soaps traces, increased degradation of engine oil, pump seizures due to high viscosity at low temperatures, corrosion of fuel tanks on account of excess water, catalyst, bacterial growths and clogging of fuel lines/filters.
