Triple Layer Crosshead

Fixed centre triple layer cross-head for the extrusion of three layers. For insulation of inner-and outer-skin as well as a solid or chemical /physical foamed insulation.

The triple layer cross-head is designed as a compact unit with an high level of production accuracy and use only elements of ruled geometric. The special design of the distribution geometry is the assumption for the short construction length as well as a low melt flow resistance and melt pressure. This is very important for the physical foaming process. The cross head design make it easy for threading in the conductor as well as extrusion tool change.

Design for skin-foam-skin insulation with the standard extrusion tools!

This head is designed for the use of standard dies, size 4/6 made from tungsten carbide or steel with an angle of 60A C or 30A C.
