The range of the transmitter is field programmable and can be easily programmed at site. Temperature Transmitters are generally head mounted and fitted in the head of temperature sensor. Module size of the temperature transmitter is designed such that it can well be fitted in all common heads of temperature sensors. These transmitters are loop powered type. These transmitters are simply ranged and calibrated on the bench by using a single on board push button switch without need for soldering links. Digital technology ensures accurate and drift free linearization to common curves, providing a level of performance not possible with earlier analogue type transmitters. These converters are extensively used in cement, fertilizer, chemical, and processing plants.
