Hardener X is a post-exposure and processing, liquid screen stencil hardener which improves the stencil durability of textile direct emulsions, including 925WR, TZ, LX-630, LX-660 AND QTX. Ita s for industrial use only.

Although Hardner X may make your stencils last exceptionally long, reclaiming your mesh might become impossible. Stencil hardeners penetrate the stencil and form an additional chemical bond with the mesh that stencil removers cannot break. Ulano hardeners can be used with most textile emulsions, but will make stencil removal more difficult and may make the stencil brittle.

How to use a Ulano Hardner X or Stencil Hardner Like a Pro

Before using Ulano Hardner X or Stencil Hardner, prepare the stencil with Reclaim and Prep chemicals.

Apply Ulano Hardener X to both sides of the screen with a soft bristled brush or sponge after the stencil has been properly exposed, washed out and thoroughly dried. Blot excess solution from the image area.

Allow the screen to cure for 24 hours at room temperature. To accelerate the curing process, the screen can be exposed to heat, not exceeding 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees centigrade), for one hour.
