We are trading and supplying of Rotometers from Faridabad, Haryana, India. The Rotometer is a new instrument from Ugo Basile, specifically designed for recording rotations in UNRESTRAINED MICE, by measuring the animal movements by a magnetic field detection system. The greatest advantage to this instrument is that it measures free-moving rotational behaviour; THETHER IS NOT REQUIRED. Simply attach a tiny magnet (the size of a grain of rice) to the animal tail or nape and the Rotometer automatically tallies clockwise and counterclockwise rotations. The mouse (or small rat) is placed on a 20cm diam. circular arena, enclosed in a clear Perspex cyinder, 25cm tall. Digital read-out shows accrued rotations. The Rotometer features Portable Memory Stick technology, USB interface, & software for connection to PC.
