For better product development, PONTOS is required for a good understanding of dynamical component behavior for simulation verification, vibration analysis or measurement of relative movement. This system helps in delivering the dynamic, accurate and synchronized position of an unlimited number of markers.

The other usage includes:

Determination of displacement of the markers, graphically visualized or exported by capturing images at different load or movement situations.
Defining and evaluation of rigid body movement, object deformation or dynamic behavior of the object under load

Functioning on the basis of GOM's two camera technology, the image acquisition uses flexible triggering techniques and is linked to the load situation, including recording of analog signals. The rugged construction, compact design and transportable set up help in precise positioning, movement and deformation values for industrial applications.
