Mythological Temple Door

This mythological temple door is made using teak wood with frame & overlay right round. It has a shutter size of 79" (height) X 43 (Width) with frame size of 84" (Height) X 48" (Width), section of 6 X 3 , overlay size 96" (Height) X 60" (Width) & standard thickness of 1 ". This prayer hall door contains four floral panels two on top & two at bottom & the four central panels containing the four auspicious signs of Lord Vishnu namely The Shanku, Chakra, Gadha and Padma. They symbolize the:

* Matsya Avatar: The giant fish which pulled the Ark of Manu when the earth was deluged by the sea
* Kurma Avatar: The turtle which enabled obtaining the nectar from the bottom of the ocean during the Samudra Manthana (churning of the ocean)
* Varaha Avatar: The wild boar, which lifted mother earth when she was lost in the wide expanse of space.
* Narasimha Avatar: Half man and half lion, who slayed the mighty demon king Hiryankashyap. This king had got a boon from Brahma the creator that he would not be killed either by man or bees, by day nor night, neither inside nor outside.
