Ceramic Liners are currently the premium liner offered today. Ceramic Liner have been known to operate well over the 7000-hour work. Due to the high hardness of the ceramic surface, they wear substantially less than other liner types. This translate into longer piston operating times. If the correct conditions are present, the cost per operating hour can be much less than that of the other liner types.
