CONSTRUCTION
Mild steel shell / FRP vessel, fitted with pipe lines, valves, strainers, sampling cock, pressure gauges and filled up with full charge of Filtering Media.
OPERATION
Iron Removal Filter is manually operated Catalytic Filtration unit when raw water i.e., unfiltered water passes through a bed of Catalytic media, the dissolved Iron in ferrous form is converted into Ferric state and precipitated inside the bed and then the filtered water comes out. Only back washing is necessary for cleaning the bed.
