With the vast experience gained in the field of plastic processing plants waveform controls has developed Heating Controller for Plastic Extruders that are efficient, accurate and cost effective.

Brief description of the system.

With the inception of ac drives for extruders, we provide very heavy duty ac drives that are capable to deliver 200% load if need arises and at the same time safeguard the costly extruder from damage. The extruder drives and other auxiliary drives are synchronized using special synchronising software which helps in maintaining accuracy of the processed material within close tolerances. The plastic extruders now being supplied by the manufacturers offer very high out put. With the standard synchronising system mostly adopted in the industry it is seen that the wastages are very high during start up of the machine. It really takes a long time to stabilize at the required settings thereby increasing the wastages. With the special synchronising software adopted by waveform it is possible to run the machine at very low output in the beginning and then increase the output when the specifications are achieved.

Also waveform controls has developed temperature control system both discreet and plc based. With the unique pid software, the heating system becomes highly efficient and very precise. It is seen that in large extruders the power saving is about 20% as compared with the conventional type of temperature controllers. In plc based temperature control systems special features such as soaking time, starting of heating time, temperature profiles, different alarm generation and protection against sensor failure, high and low temperature protections etc can be programmed.

We have already supplied many systems on multilayer film plants, pvc film extruders, blow moulding machines, injection moulding machines. We have modified the old conventional type of machines with our new system and have seen amazing results.
