Sonal's FRP cable trays have been tested by independent authorities as per various specifications and also inspected by Lloyds Register of Shipping, Engineers India Limited, Mecon Limited, John Brown Technology India Private Limited, Larsen and Turbo Ltd., Bureau Veritas, Essar Group of Companies and many others.

Our cable trays are manufactured as per NEMA standards and Fire Retardant Grade confirms to IS 6746 for surface burning test and ASTM-D-635 for precast flammability test.

Pultrusion is a continuous, automated closed moulding process that is cost effective for high volume production of cross section parts.

These are made up of C shaped side channel.

Rungs are secured to the side channels by pressure contact moulding or by bolting.

Rung internals are designed to eliminate rolling over during cable installation and are places 300mm/250mm apart c/c.

Why FRP Cable Trays

Manufacturing Process:

The basic pultrusion process involves:

Pulling of continuous fibres through a resin bath, blended with a catalyst and then into a pre forming fixture where the section is partially pre-shaped and excess resin is removed.
It is then processed through a heated die which determines the sectional geometry and finishes of the final product.
A flying cut-off saw is programmed to cut the product to the desired length.
