PURPOSE: Serves the dual purpose of reducing temperature of the Gas Stream and also settling of large sized particles.

FUNCTIONING: Gases are introduced at one point in the Chamber, which is made of thin sheet for maximum heat loss, and then they are made to travel either diagonally or through a walled partition to the furthermost point so as to effectively loose heat during the transit. Also while loosing heat, they loose velocity and large sized particles entrained
