Key Features
OME Engineers & Fabricators offer Flaker to covert molten chemical into solid flakes by forming a thin layer of molten products on the outside surface of a rotating drum and causing this to be solidified by spraying cooling water from inside surface on the drum. An adjustable scraper continuously removes the solidified from the drum surface in flake forms. The material construction for the drum can mild steel, stainless steel with/ without hard chrom plating. Drum rotating on anti friction self aligning ball/ roller bearing standard housing. Complete with 1440 RPM, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, TEFC/ ISD motor, with gear box, try hopper, M.S. Hood, belt guard, the machine is mounted on heavy base-plate for trouble free service. Flakers are used in acetanilide, fatty acids, Mono chloro acetic acid, nickel catalyst, naphthalene, resin.
