Press-in type (self-tapping / self-cutting)

Ultrasonic / Heat staking type

Mould-in type (during plastic injection moulding)

Thread Range (Metric):

From M2 to M12 (standard)

Larger sizes possible on request.

Tolerance (Threads):

Metric ISO thread as per DIN 13

Tolerance: 6H (internal threads).

External Features:

Knurled, diamond, round, or hexagonal outer profile for higher pull-out resistance.

Undercuts or grooves for better anchorage in plastics.

Surface Finish:

Natural brass (as machined)

Nickel / Tin plating on request.

Pull-Out Strength:

Depends on insert type + plastic material.

Standard values given in DIN 16903 tables (varies by size & type).

Installation Method:

Press-in: Cold press into thermoplastics.

Heat staking / Ultrasonic: Inserted after moulding using energy.

Mould-in: Placed in mould cavity before injection.
