Uses:

Treats and prevents osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men.
Used to treat Pageta s disease of bone, a condition where bones are soft, weak, and may be damaged, painful, or easily broken.
Can be used as part of a combination therapy with calcium and vitamin D supplements.
Best taken by mouth once a day on an empty stomach, with a full glass (6-8 ounces) of plain water, preferably in the morning.
Precautions:

Inform your doctor if undergoing radiation therapy or have a sodium-restricted diet.
Mention if you have anemia, vitamin D deficiency, difficulty swallowing, heartburn, ulcers, stomach issues, cancer, infections in the mouth, teeth, or gums, dental or kidney disease.
Not safe for pregnant, planning to have a baby, or breastfeeding mothers.
