Aerosil 200 is a fine, amorphous silica powder and specific surface area ~200 m /g. It is chemically inert, non combustible, and thermally stable up to 1000 C. Insoluble in water, but forms stable dispersions. Hygroscopic, lightweight, and requires dust controlled handling due to inhalation hazards.
