| Usage | 2-ydroxypropyl-I eta-Cyclodextrin overcomes the main disadvantage of Beta-cyclodextrin poor water solubility while maintaining the cyclodextrin cavity. It is one of the most studied and widely used cyclodextrin derivatives. Mainly used in food, medicine, cosmetics industry. 1. In the field of food and spices, it can improve the stability and long-term effect of nutritional molecules, cover up or correct the bad smell and taste of food nutritional molecules, and improve the production process and product quality. The product has good solubility in water, and can be miscible with water in any proportion if the degree of substitution is 4 and above, and can also be dissolved in 50% ethanol and methanol. 2. Used as a stabilizer, emulsifier, deodorant, etc. in cosmetic raw materials, which can reduce the stimulation of organic molecules in cosmetics to skin and mucous membrane tissues, enhance the stability of active ingredients, and prevent the volatilization and oxidation of nutrients.
