Having headquarters in Patiala, Punjab, since 2006, Mohindra Dies and Tools Private Limited is a private firm that manufactures threading tools and cutting tools. MDTPL is a corporation with the motto, Economy and Quantity with Quality, pushed by highly qualified individuals. No order is too small or too large for MDTPL, and we do all possible to meet customer-specific demands.

MDTPL has all the necessary in-house equipment to create tools from material bars. In addition, all production operations are strictly supervised by professionals using the finest tools available. Competent individuals manage necessary procedures like final profile making and heat treatment.

Our Capabilities

We have developed an in-house fleet of modern machinery, tools, and equipment to process our raw materials into quality finished products. Our robust manufacturing setup comprises high-end inputs for Turning, Cutting, I.D. Grinding, Surface Grinding, Precision Thread Grinding, and Slotting. In addition, we have a heat treatment shop that installs Electrical Micro-Processor Controlled Tempering, Stress Relieving, and Hardening Furnaces. To check the Temperature Controllers for proper functionality, we use Infra-Red & Optical Pyrometers.

We measure physical parameters of manufactured tools at our Production Shop using controlling equipment of Calibrated Quality. In addition, we maintain and check our Thread Forms by utilizing High Magnification Optical Profile Comparators and Projectors. Our qualified professionals manage all these units and products with complete domain knowledge and experience.

Quality Variants

We present different quality variants in Circular Thread Rolls and MPT Thread Rolling Flat Dies. These variants include:

Regular Quality: The most produced dies at our facilities are of standard quality and are made from properly heat-treated material and ground-formed threads. This quality is reliable for producing general fasteners with up to 20 HRC of hardness.

Premium Quality: These are made from selected tools and steel materials subjected to unique heat treatment cycles. These effectively help in developing fasteners of up to 30 HRC hardness.

Supreme Quality: Made from premium tools & steel grades, this quality of dies is processed through advanced heat treatment cycles, making them perfect for high life & production, wear resistance, and toughness that is suitable for making products of up to 44 HRC of hardness.

HSS Quality: We manufacture Thread Rolling Dies, both flat & circular, in high-speed steel for rolling on rigid materials and producing fasteners of up to 45 HRC hardness.
