This sword is a faithful replica of the Sword of St. Maurice from the Royal Army of Turin. A picture of the sword can be found on page 63 of David Edge's Arms and Armor of the Medieval Knight where it is dated at C.1200-1250. A picture can also be found at Oakeshott's The Archaeological of Weapons.

Out of two Swords ascribed to St. Maurice (Mauritius) one of them is in Imperial Treasury in Vienna.
