Sterile Absorbable Haemostatic Gelatin Sponge

We manufacture a range of Absorbable Gelatin Sponges that is non-toxic, non-allergenic, non-immunogenic, non-pyrogenic and overall biocompatible.Absorbable Gelatin Sponge is a compressed surgical haemostatic sponge, manufactured from highly purified Bovine gelatin material for use in various surgical procedures, where traditional haemostasis is difficult or impractical and use of other non-absorbable materials is undesirable. Absorbable Gelatin Sponge absorbs approximately 40-50 times, it's weight of water and adheres easily to the bleeding site. The uniform porosity of Absorbable Gelatin Sponge guarantees a favorable haemostasis. When implanted in vivo, it is completely absorbed within 3-4 weeks.
