Q. Why PVC cover block is used in reinforcement?

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cover block is a spacer between the rebar & shuttering to allow poured concrete to settle down, to provide thermal insulation, & to prevent corrosion & protect the steel reinforcement from environmental impacts.
